About
To enhance your natural beauty,
I perform safe and simple treatments using the highest quality products and equipment available.
Skin concerns? I can help with acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, pores, fine lines and wrinkles. I offer a range of treatments from skin analysis, skin care plans, chemical peels, to rejuvenative treatments with exosomes and RF micro needling.
I qualified as doctor in 2008 from Imperial College School of Medicine and have worked in London in anaesthetics, acute and emergency medicine. I moved to Whitstable to live near the sea, and completed my GP training here. I continue to work locally in that role, whilst also developing a passion for aesthetic medicine.
I have extensive experience in anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, rejuvenative skin treatments, skin care and body contouring. I have been trained at the 102 Academy in Harley Street, Cosmetic Courses and Visage Academy. I am committed to professional development and regularly attend conferences and courses to keep my techniques as up to date as possible, to achieve the best cosmetic results with the safest techniques.
I am regulated by the General Medical Council, and am a member or the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group. I am fully insured for the treatments.
I have an aesthetic clinic at Clinic 124 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Anti-wrinkle treatments
I offer a number of different anti-wrinkle treatments and can discuss a personalised treatment plan on consultation.
Dermal fillers
As we age our bones, muscles and fat pads of our face resorb and diminish, leading to less support for the skin structures. This causes the skin and soft tissues to descend slightly, leading to jowls or marionette lines. Dermal fillers are injected into the skin to add volume, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and hydrate the skin. The dermal fillers I use contain hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar chain molecule found in the skin and soft tissues of the body. The filler comes as a gel which is injected to support skin structures and reduce the signs of ageing. Depending on the site and filler used the effects can last usually 12 months.
Lip fillers
Lip fillers are also made from the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. They can be used to hydrate the lips, to add volume, or even to add a subtle definition to the lip. Lip fillers can also be used to reduce the appearance of smoker lines around the mouth and to support downturned lip corners. The fillers have different properties- one type lasts from 6 months and another lasts from 12 months.
Profhilo
Profhilo is perfect for skin with crepey effect and fine lines. It involves five small injections on each side of the face at specific points. It is a very safe procedure and takes about 10 minutes and has no downtime. It is different to fillers as it spreads like a honey under the skin to smooth it and add hydration. It also has a special formula of hyaluronic acid (the naturally occurring sugar chain that is in our skin or made in factories for dermal fillers and Profhlilo), which has a slow release leading to lasting results. It helps the skin to produce elastin and collagen which give the skin a firmer, more youthful appearance. The treatment requires 2-3 sessions 1 month apart and then 6 monthly as maintenance if needed.
HarmonyCa
HarmonyCa with lidocaine is a revolutionary hybrid biostimulator and an advanced injectable treatment that restores facial volume loss with an immediate lifting effect, and also stimulates the collagen production within your skin long after you have had treatment. This award-winning treatment will visibly tighten and lift your jawline and cheeks for up to 18 months, for youthful and natural-looking results. Like dermal fillers it adds volume and definition, but it differs as it has the dual effect by improving the collagen and skin quality. HarmonyCa is proudly created by Allergan Aesthetics, a global leader in injectables and the same company that brought you Juvéderm.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a fast, effective, and safe solution for the removal of skin imperfections.
Procedures typically last 5 to 30 seconds, so you can be in and out quickly.
A fine jet of Nitrous Oxide under high pressure, allowing work with millimeter precision. This destroys the tissue by freezing the intracellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals that rupture the membrane and destroy the cell.
There will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue. It is incredibly accurate and practical. Cosmetic procedures to remove skin tags, milia, and cherry angiomas are no longer being treated by many doctors on the NHS.
With Cryotherapy you can now have these treatments here.
The applicator is held as close as possible to the skin imperfection and moved towards and away from it for 1-30 seconds depending on the size and depth. It removes skin tags and age spots, is minimally invasive, and fast treatment times. It is ideal for skin tags, solar lentigo, pigmented spots, seborrhoeic keratosis, haemangiomas, plantar warts, condyloma, and molluscum.
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are a minimally invasive procedure that uses the DNA and RNA of fish in a fine gel, that are injected to the skin of the target treatment area.
They act as a trigger to the skin cells fibroblasts to promote healing and tissue regeneration, resulting in improved skin appearance. It is a safe and effective treatment option with minimal downtime and side effects.
Facial Rejuvenation with polynucleotide therapy is being used as a non-surgical alternative to traditional facelifts to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. The fibroblasts and healing cascade that is triggered, stimulate collagen production and tissue regeneration, leading to a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
Polynucleotides can help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dull skin by stimulating collagen production and increasing blood flow to the treated area such as face, around the eyes and neck.
They help to promote healing and tissue regeneration, leading to improved texture and appearance of acne scars. Polynucleotide therapy can help improve the appearance of dark circles or puffiness under the eyes and improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin.
Polynucleotide therapy can be used to treat hair loss and stimulate hair regrowth. Polynucleotide therapy can help to increase hair thickness and density by promoting the growth of healthy hair follicles.
RadiofrequencyMicro Needling & Exosomes
Our Derma RF pro micro needling device uses 25 gold tipped needles that penetrate the skin and release radiofrequency energy at 3 levels within the skin, maximizing the fibroblast stimulation and collagen production. A course of six sessions a month apart followed by 6 monthly maintenance is recommended for best results. Our radiofrequency micro needling treatments can be combined with skin boosters or our powerful exosome therapy with EXO|E Skin Revitalising Complex. Exosome therapy is a type of regenerative medicine used to enhance the skins elasticity, strength, and overall appearance through the utilisation of minuscule extracellular vesicles called exosomes. Exosomes are naturally occurring nanoparticles that are released by our cells, containing a mixture of lipids, proteins, amino acids, and peptides. They function to enable powerful cell-to-cell communication. In terms of skin revival, when exosomes penetrate the dermis, they send signals to our fibroblast cells to act optimally, triggering regeneration and stimulating the production of skin-boosting collagen and elastin.
EXO|E Skin Revitalising Complex, an innovative treatment that uses plant stem cell technology to rejuvenate the skin. EXO|E is comprised of billions of plant secretory factors. A mix of three different plants stem cells are placed in an inflammatory condition, and they secrete a range of plant derived extracellular nanoparticles (PDENs), growth factors, peptides, liposomes, amino acids and proteins which carry information from cell to cell. Plants are also based on DNA, so these nanoparticles have been proven to carry information to our own skin cells with impressive results.
When combined with radiofrequency micro needling, this produces tighter, lifted, firmer, more youthful-looking skin, an improved skin barrier function, better hydration, pore reduction, and pigment control. Each of our micro needling treatments include 14 days of home treatment with EXO|E to enhance the results.
For those that prefer, we do offer an EXO|E facial which includes 7 days of home Detox treatment, a facial massage with EXO|E treatment in clinic and 20 minutes of LED light therapy, followed by a further 7 days of Repair treatment again for home use. EXO|E can penetrate the skin for effective results without micro needling- so for those who prefer a facial to any needling, this is a great alternative.

Your Appointment
The Consultation
Prior to all treatments you will need a consultation to assess your goals, suitability and treatment plan. All procedures will be fully explained and you will be provided with written information. You will be advised to bring make up if you wish as it will need to be removed for the assessment. It is a good idea to bring an old photo so we can see any changes.
Treatment Day
On the day of your treatment you will have an opportunity to review your treatment plan, sign your consent forms, and have your pre treatment photos taken and uploaded to your secure treatment record. You will need to avoid excessive sweating, so no gym or saunas for 24 hours and avoid make up and alcohol for the same time. You will be provided with an aftercare advice sheet and 24 hour support with contact details.
Follow Up
I offer a review at 2 weeks to assess the results.

What are the side effects or complications of Botulinum toxin treatments?
Complications are uncommon and transient, usually becoming noticeable within a few days and usually settling within a few weeks of treatment.
Injections are not painful and are well tolerated without anaesthetic. They can be felt as a mild discomfort, but many do not feel any discomfort at all.
You will go back to your pre-injection state after 3-6 months.
Swelling and redness at injection site usually settle within 20 minutes but can last longer.
Bruising can occur so best avoid the treatment before a big event.
Asymmetry of expression can occur. This can be reviewed at the follow up and doses adjusted for a top up if needed.
Drooping of the brow or eyelid.
Heavy or tight feeling in the head after treatment.
Can anyone have dermal fillers?
NOT IF
you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

you have have had a dermal filler before but not sure what the filler used was, the fillers I use cannot be combined with any permanent or collagen dermal fillers.
If you have a history of cold sores, the injections can trigger a bad flare- so we would need to cover you with treatment for cold sores before the treatment.
What are the side effects or complications of dermal fillers?
Redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and itching are expected, they can get worse after the first day and can last up to 2 weeks.
Any worsening of symptoms after 3 days will need further review.
The injections are made more comfortable by using a local anaesthetic cream, and the dermal filler include a local anaesthetic so the treatment feels more comfortable as it goes on.
There have been approximately 200 reported cases of blindness with dermal filler, that works out at about 1 in 1.5 million injections. To reduce the risk, I know the anatomy of the arteries, and ensure I am in the correct depth, I aspirate with every injection to check the needle is not in the artery, and only every inject small volumes, slowly at a time.
